The aim was to develop and use investments effectively, and show the right processes of organic waste management, in the town and at home.

The action aims to motivate people to use public transport more often and protect the environment. Public transport is completely free of charge for the inhabitants of the seaside town of Dunkirk.

King’s Cross

Protection of cultural heritage and sustainability are taken into account in the development of King’s Cross in the heart of London. In the area of 67 ha, 50 buildings, 1,900 houses, 20 new streets and 10 new parks have been built. The development included energy-efficient buildings, green transport solutions and a tree planting programme. The 30,000 people who live, work or study in the area are a living proof that sustainable solutions improve lives.
