The second year of the SDGs Awards Ceremony took place on 12th June 2018 in the Czernin Palace at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The main foreign guest was the Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Denmark, Kristian Jensen, who is responsible for the SDGs agenda of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Kristian Jensen was awarded an honorary Leadership on the SDGs award for leading by example with his work on fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals.

Last Supper

The campaign of the second year of the SDGs Awards was based on the original version of the Last Supper of the Czech SDGs Ambassadors. The photographer Pavlína Saudková captured them at one table in the Prague church of Sacre Coeur where they met to help to make the current global problems more visible.
More information about the campaign Last Supper is HERE.

The ceremony was hosted by writer Barbara Nesvadbová and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Czechia Petr Šimůnek.

The guests were sitting around roundtables that represented the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The flower decorations were prepared by the social business Aranžérie. After the first part of the programme, the guests were invited to a zero waste reception in the gardens of the Czernin Palace.

You can experience the atmosphere of the ceremony in short aftervideo.

You can also watch an exclusive interview of economist Tomáš Sedláček with Kristian Jensen, that took place before the gala evening.
