Stařešina do každé korporace is an educational campaign which aims to show companies how much the elderly can offer to them. At the same time, it shows older people how to reconnect and participate in the society. The company gains experience, the pensioner gains confidence, motivation and earnings. Taťána Kuchařová’s foundation also holds round tables and a conference on employment of the elderly.

GLOBAL INSPIRATION:

People Like Us

According to a recent study, only 16% of autistic employees work full time despite the fact that the majority of them wants to work. In 2016, this wish inspired Lars and Jesper Carlsen who opened a brewery in the small Danish town Skippinde to employ only autistic people. They named it People Like Us. The founders also own the LeVas enterprise which provides education and training to autistic people.

Heineken

Heineken launched a short ad by Publicis London. In the ad, real Brits speak about their extreme opinions that they consider to be right. Each of them is paired with someone with the opposite views. The two have to work on a project together, get to know each other… and understand each other.

Paris and JCDecaux

Paris banned sexist and demeaning ads using gender stereotypes, homophobic pictures, defamatory presentation of men and women, expressions of ethnic or nationality discrimination, negative imagery of elder people or ads that deprive human dignity. The Council of Paris work in the cooperation with the advertising agency JCDecaux.

Ensure equal opportunity and reduce inequalities of outcome, including by eliminating discriminatory laws, policies and practices and promoting appropriate legislation, policies and action in this regard

Adopt policies, especially fiscal, wage and social protection policies, and progressively achieve greater equality

Improve the regulation and monitoring of global financial markets and institutions and strengthen the implementation of such regulations

Ensure enhanced representation and voice for developing countries in decision-making in global international economic and financial institutions in order to deliver more effective, credible, accountable and legitimate institutions

Facilitate orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people, including through the implementation of planned and well-managed migration policies
